Seeking an Environmental Engineer - DIEE
Our Client Company is the largest integrated marketer and manufacturer of uncoated free-sheet paper in North America, with 10 pulp and paper mills and an annual paper production capacity of approximately 3.4 million tons. The Environmental Engineer interprets state and federal regulations and coordinates with production departments to develop and document sound environmental practices and initiatives, including modifications to permits, as necessary. This individual supports and conducts testing to verify compliance and accuracy of monitoring equipment. He or she also monitors compliance to permits and document abnormalities, and communicates performance and report findings, both internally and externally. He or she facilitates change in order to improve business practices in alignment with new technologies and programs.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Pulp and Paper or Chemical Engineering
• A minimum of three to five years of relative experience
• Strong working knowledge of environmental regulations and company policies and procedures
• Microsoft Office Proficiency
• Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
Please note: our client will consider recent grads with intern experience.
