Seeking Process Control Engineer €“ DIPCE

Our Client Company is the largest integrated marketer and manufacturer of uncoated free-sheet paper in North America. They own and operate 10 pulp and paper mills and boast an annual paper production capacity of approximately 3.4 million tons. Currently, they seek a Process Control Engineer in Ashdown, Arkansas. The salary is $90-100K, depending on experience, with relocation assistance available.
The Process Control Engineer works to optimize the mill€™s DCS system, Pulp, Power, and Paper process, the OSISoft PI system, and workflow in the Process Control group. Furthermore, he or she manages the process of completing a major DCS project. The Process Control Engineer also plans and schedules jobs for the general mechanic reporting to him or her. This position requires an individual who is very detail oriented, a self-starter, and highly motivated to learn the Pulp, Power, and Paper process, along with modern control theory.
Requirements:

€ Bachelor€™s Degree in Electrical or Chemical Engineering
€ Basic knowledge of process-area process and instrumentation € Ability to properly interpret PID drawings € Basic understanding of control theory, i.e., transfer functions, amplifiers, filters, and frequency response € Strong proficiency with MS Excel and MS Access € Excellent verbal- and written-communications skills € Highly developed leadership abilities € Strong negotiation and persuasiveness abilities
